2019-2020 Budget: What to Expect with the New Fuel Tax?
In its Finance Law voted by the lower chamber of Parliament on May 29, Gitega is betting on fuel taxation rising by 308% compared to the 2018/2019 fiscal year. Thus, according to the approved budget projections, taxes on fuel rise from 23.47 to 71.12 billion BIF.
