According to some of those contacted, they say the service is productive but their superiors do not pay them on time.
Those we met at the office this morning informed us they are striking in order to loudly claim their grievance.
An agent who requested anonymity specified that production is effective in the company but the revenue is sent to Kinshasa. The latter accuses their manager of sending this money to preserve his position.
The head of the SONAS-Uvira office rejects outright the statements made by these agents. TANGANIKA WAMANGAPI does not acknowledge the existence of a strike in his institution but says he is working on it.
The observation made by our reporter on the ground on Thursday, February 6, is that all offices are closed except for certain agents who are in the waiting room.
