Although bans on shows and cultural events due to this scourge (COVID-19) are in place. And the Nomadic Afropolitan had cancelled its festivities in 2020. For this 2021 season, the planned solution is that several of its activities will be held online. Vanessa KANGA, the festival's founder, reassures us.
Indeed, according to the organizing team, for this year, the event will be marked by a 6-month itinerary of celebrations. A synthesis of music and images thanks to their musicians and visual artists.
A series of live concerts in partnership with the French Institutes will be presented from January to April 2021.
According to the same source, the festival in question is reinventing itself and imagining with the French Institutes. It is with an African musical world tour whose first stops are Douala and Abidjan.
The 7th edition of the festival thus offers concerts with artists from its programs broadcast in several French Institutes across the continent.

The team also informs us that there will be singers such as Christelle Moon who will offer for the first stop in Douala, a quality musical performance, which will then be broadcast during the festival in July 2021.
Furthermore, in Abidjan, the rhythms and sounds will be animated by Tyrane accompanied by Lirie Sankofa, Mzss and presenter Ozone frikamba.
For the headliners according to the festival team, the series of prestige concerts/exhibitions in the promotional spaces will be marked by the presence of proud African cultural entrepreneurs who will be honored during the said festival.
