After Requiem for a Republic, a noir novel set against the backdrop of the Algerian War in 1962, writer Thomas Cantaloube brings back his characters and this time projects them to Cameroon. His new novel, titled Frakas, has just been published in the Série Noire collection by Gallimard. A former journalist at Mediapart, Thomas Cantaloube wanted to rescue from oblivion the war in Cameroon just after decolonization.
