The Ethiopian federal state claims to have won victory against the breakaway Tigray power. On Monday, November 30, the government defended its actions and the toll of military operations after more than three weeks of conflict. But TPLF leaders claim the struggle is not over. Addis Ababa continues to search for the leaders of the Tigrayan party.

The hunt for TPLF leaders is underway. According to the government spokesperson, around one hundred military personnel and one hundred civilians are being actively sought. But for Redwan Hussein, there is no question of negotiating with them. "We attempted dialogue many times. But given the massacres committed, the attack on our forces, the weapons and rockets they say they possess, it is impossible," he indicated.
In any case, before talks, the federal army must leave Tigray, indicated Debretsion Gebremichael. The TPLF leader claims to still be in Tigray and to possess missiles ready to be fired at any time. He even declared he was confident of his troops' victory, which he claims hold prisoners.
Abiy Ahmed says he is certain of knowing where the leaders of the Tigrayan party are located. Before the National Assembly on Monday, the Prime Minister indicated they were between Hagere Selam and Abiy Abdi. "We did not want to attack them because they took their wives, children and prisoners with them. But we have tracked their movements," he asserted before deputies favorable to his cause.
The head of government also questioned the fate of refugees who fled to Sudan. According to him, these would mainly be young people, possibly infiltrated pro-TPLF elements. An assertion contradicted by the figures from humanitarian organizations, which show that most refugees are women and children.
