Recognized as a "god" of Africans according to his followers, TATA WAHISEELELWA ALIMASI BULANGI ESSE died on Saturday, January 11, 2020 and was buried on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in his heaven by his 24 elders, unseen by everyone. We are in the East of the Democratic Republic of the Congo,…

At the age of 69, "Tata Wahiseelelwa Neno" leaves behind 2 wives and 15 children, and his church had already been established in several countries in the region such as Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, etc.
Since the beginning of the funeral ceremonies at 9 a.m. local time, as planned in the program, and its conclusion at 4 p.m., many people arrived dressed in green or white. They wept at his departure.
Who is this god?
"I had already been in contact with him more than twice, and participated in his assemblies. The population will remember him for his charisma, he was a true leader, he never wanted to hold any position in state management, regardless of political solicitations. But at a certain time he directed the crisis committee of the territorial coordination of civil society vital forces." Ngandu Makangila Lucien
The origins of this church and its mission (Taken from Fizi Daima Paper)
He is the "God" of the "Third Church" (very well known as "Malkia wa Ubembe"), a religious group from South Kivu (in the east of the DRC) which is also very established in several countries in the region (Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, etc). He is, according to his preachings, the "holy spirit" that Jesus promised to send to the disciples after his departure; and therefore one of the 3 persons of the divine Trinity. The "Third Church" was founded in 1923 in the east of Kasai and whose faithful were known as "the dominators."
The founding of this church is a fascinating story: a Congolese priest named Mbuyi Charles had received, from another Belgian priest (called DeClerck) the secret according to which the souls/spirits of the Blacks were linked to the shadows of the Whites who freely exercised the power of the Lord. DeClerck advised Mbuyi to say a prayer to free the Blacks and give them access to divine power. DeClerck and Mbuyi Charles were killed for their actions – no doubt for having discovered this secret.
But before dying, Mbuyi Charles had transferred this power to his confidant, Bakwalufu, who fled with it to Kinshasa. In the meantime, Bakwafulu consecrated 6 prophets and gave each of them access to divine power. Among them were – still according to their history – Patrice Emery Lumumba (whose task was to liberate the body), Kadima Ilunga (who was to show the way of the black god) and Simon Kimbangu (to whom was attributed the power to bring down the spirit for the black people).
Upon his death in 1983, Bakwalufu transferred this power to a young disciple named Alimasi Bulangi (the current one) who was reborn as "Tata Wahiseelelwa Neno", incarnation of the power of god on earth.
His main mission as a "god" is peace in the face of the insecurity plaguing the Fizi region. For this self-proclaimed divinity, the people who cause trouble are those who worship Jesus and Moses, and do not know that the age of Moses and Jesus has passed and that now there is the age of Tata Wahise Elelwa.
"In Fizi, there are many who continue to worship Jesus. But with time this insecurity will end when everyone believes in me," he affirms. And he adds: "On no day will you hear someone who believes in me hold a weapon." He himself acknowledges that if he attempted to touch one, it would be the end of him.
