The tournament will take place in three phases, including qualifiers and a grand final scheduled for the end of October.

Rawbank officially launched the third edition of the All Stars Games University 3x3 during a press conference held on May 30, 2026, at the basketball court of the National Institute of Arts (INA) in Kinshasa. This event is part of the We Act program, which aims to promote sports and education within Congolese universities.
The tournament will take place in three phases: regional qualifiers, scheduled between September 1 and October 15, followed by a grand final that will take place in downtown Kinshasa on October 29 and 30. This format allows university teams to compete at multiple levels, thereby enhancing the spirit of competition.
The first phase of the qualifiers will be exclusively reserved for women's teams, while the second will be open to men's teams. This separation aims to encourage women's participation in sports while allowing men to compete in a different context. As a representative of Rawbank emphasized, "the inclusion of women in this tournament is essential to promote women's basketball in the Democratic Republic of Congo."
According to a statement from Rawbank, the previous edition had generated significant interest, with over 50 participating universities, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for this sport. Indeed, basketball is gaining popularity in the country, supported by initiatives such as the Basketball Africa League (BAL), which has recently highlighted local talent.
Interested teams can register via Rawbank's official social media channels. The registration process is designed to be accessible and quick, in order to encourage maximum participation. As Rawbank states on its platforms: "We welcome the spirit of fair play and the numerous participation of young talents who wish to shine for their university."
With this new edition of the All Stars Games University 3x3, Rawbank continues to play a key role in the development of basketball in the DRC. The event is not limited to sports competition; it also aims to foster team values and community engagement among the youth.
This tournament represents a valuable opportunity for Congolese student-athletes to stand out and contribute to the growth of basketball in their country. The momentum created by Rawbank could well inspire other companies to support similar initiatives in the sports field.
