Félix Tshisekedi chaired an expanded national security council in Bukavu on Wednesday, October 9, with governors of five provinces (Ituri, North and South Kivu, Maniema, and Tanganyika). The council adopted certain measures aimed at restoring security and state authority in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
