The Wise Council of the Representation of Students of Congo (COSA-REC) has been headed since August 27, 2022, by a new team. Elected during elections held in Kinshasa on Saturday, August 13, 2022, this new committee has promised to defend student rights, as well as to promote gender equality…

A new leadership team of COSA-REC at the national level has just been sworn in. It is composed of five members, namely Akoma Nyumbe Lumumba, principal advisor, Henschel Kimanga, academic advisor, the legal advisor, Kanda Mubaya Trésor, the sociocultural advisor, Ngatwa Toshi, and finally Mabulai Mbula Mado, the advisor in charge of gender and student promotion. The new committee assures that it will work hard to defend the interests of all students in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"We are calling for the support and assistance of everyone so that we can assert student rights and promote gender equality. We will work tirelessly to promote our student youth so that they can integrate into the socioprofessional and economic life of our country after their studies," declared Mabulai Mbula Mado, the advisor in charge of gender and student promotion.
The latter also promises to defend the rights of all female students in the DRC. However, this team has a mandate for one year.
