Algeria, unlike other favorites such as Cameroon, Egypt and Morocco, which were knocked out in the Round of 16, lived up to expectations against the Guineans, who were without their star Naby Keita, who was injured.
Youcef Belaïli (24th minute), Riyad Mahrez (57th minute) and Adam Ounas (82nd minute) scored the three goals for the Fennecs.
The Algerians have recorded a fourth straight victory and are the only team yet to concede a goal in this CAN.
