They burned three trucks on Monday and executed a driver. No official death toll has been released by the authorities.
The attack took place Sunday, around 5 p.m., according to local sources. The assailants, who arrived on motorcycles, opened fire on civilian populations in the middle of the market.
The son of Arbinda's traditional chief and a woman are among the 19 people killed, according to a security source who speaks of a provisional death toll. At least 13 wounded have been recorded.

On Monday, three trucks loaded with food supplies intended for displaced persons from villages affected by insecurity and gathered in the locality were intercepted and set on fire by unidentified individuals.
A driver was executed, according to the same source.
Police officers stationed in the city had left Arbinda, estimating that they are under-equipped to stop the attacks.
The armed forces are nonetheless engaged in a full counter-terrorism operation in the region. Named "Doofu" (to uproot, in the local language), this operation was intended to uproot terrorist bases in this part of the country.
